EoPlex Technologies CEO Presents at the 2007 Lux Executive Summit

Redwood City, CA – October 17, 2007 - Arthur L. Chait, CEO of EoPlex Technologies Inc., yesterday presented as guest panelist at the Lux Executive Summit in Cambridge, Mass. Chait spoke on the application of advanced materials technology to create miniature devices that generate, harvest and manage energy. He described the disruptive, EoPlex platform technology that builds complex, components on a small, customizable scale. Chait explained how the EoPlex technique enables manufacturing of complex miniature mechanical, electronic, fluidic and chemical components in high volume production and at low cost. He also explored various applications, including energy harvesting devices, fuel cell components, wireless sensors and thermal energy management devices.

The summit panel was comprised of Chait and a second executive, both representing startups. The panel also included two executives from large corporations. Panelists reviewed how a startup goes about working with a large company, as well as how it can meet growth expectations. Also discussed were ways to focus when presented with a portfolio of opportunities, and the difference in presenting a business plan to venture capitalists as opposed to presenting to senior management at large companies.
